Am I in outdoor heaven? – Oh yes, I think I am! This weekend I am at the Riihimäki Wilderness fair just outside Helsinki searching for new inspiration.
During the past years I have been exploring the Swedish, Norwegian and Danish outdoor life, realizing just how close really great nature can be. In Scandinavia, we have 4 distinct seasons and we also have the advantage of being able to get 4 totally different experiences only by visiting the same place in 4 seasons. But what about Finland? I realize now that I am still close to something I have not even started to explore and judging by the amount of participants and exhibitors at the fair, outdoor life is obviously something that lies close to the Finns hearts and this makes me curious. With such great interest for outdoor life, there must also be great places to explore. I just have to find them.
This visit to Finland is a true visit for inspiration. Getting inspired myself and also hoping to give away some inspiration by being on stage, talking about my adventure Fjälldrottningen.
If you are around the fair tomorrow, you are welcome to listen to my presentation at 12 o’clock. Hope to see you there! Tomorrow I will also continue to get inspired for new adventures and I think it will have to do with the seasons, because today I was challenged by Joppe Ranta to explore nature throughout the year!
